Rasam powder is made with five ingredients comprising of four spices and one lentil: Coriander seeds (sabut dhania) – Coriander seeds is one of the major ingredients in rasam podi and gives warm, earthy, robust tones. Cumin seeds (jeera) – On roasting, cumin seeds gives warm and mildly bitter tones.
