Botanical Name: Bacopa monnieri. A Majority of people use Brahmi powder for healthy hair. It supports hair growth and shine, making it appear healthier. Bacopa (Brahmi) is often used to support meditation as it promotes the clarity and subtlety of the mind. Bacopa helps to improve the quality of sadhaka pitta (which is closely related to the intellect and intelligence) and, as tonics for the mind.
Brahmi Powder as a Food: Can be taken with Hot or Cold Water. However, Experts recommend to take it with Ghee or Milk, Whichever is suitable.
Brahmi Powder for Hair: Mix Brahmi Powder with Water to make fine paste. You can also mix Brahmi for hair with other herbs like amla, tulsi or neem. It is advisable to use such herbs and oil while preparing your hair remedy using Brahmi powder for hair growth since Brahmi alone may not be able to properly cling to the hair. Adding such oils and herbs makes the paste easier to use. Just apply the paste to your hair and let it stay for 45 to 50 minutes. You can then rinse it off with lukewarm water.
