Our Farm grown premium quality, Black Pepper, by indigenous farmers from Chickmanglur and Shimoga districts of Karnataka, is one of the best varieties of Black Pepper known worldwide. Scientists traced the birth of black pepper to the Western Ghats 6.3 million years ago, which is still regarded as the best variety.  Black Pepper, known as Kurumulaku in Malayalam; Kali Mirch in Hindi; Marich in Sanskrit, is such a prized spice during ancient times that it was used instead of currency and called “The king of Spices” or “black Gold”.
